Full Description
A structure of World War II date is visible on aerial photographs of 1945 onwards, centred on circa TM43854902 on King's Marshes, Orfordness, Orford parish (S1). The structure has been identified by Angus Wainwright, the archaeologist of the National Trust who now own the Ness, as a World War II machine shop associated with the experimental research base (see ORF 021).
