Full Description
A small circular concrete structure can be seen on photographs from 1944 and 1945. It was constructed after July 1940 and is probably a military feature of World War II date. It appears to have some sort of fixture on the top. Its location at the mouth of the Deben suggests that it may have been a gun emplacement or perhaps a small circular pillbox. (S1) (S2)
The feature had been removed by August 1948.
