Full Description
1990: DBA, fieldwalking, metal detecting and geophysical surveys - see (S2).
2002: Series of C17-C18 quarry pits & PMed field boundaries identified in evaluation trenching (S1).
Also Un, Preh, Rom & Sax.
Cropmarks of former field boundaries, probably of post-medieval original. The field boundaries are not visible on the 1st edition OS mapping, but do form part of the field system that is visble on the OS mapping. Helen Saunders (Essex County Council) January 2014. (S3)
