Full Description
July 2014. Lothingland, Lowestoft and North Suffolk Coast and Heaths National Mapping Programme.
Undated linear cropmarks, including a possible trackway, are visible on aerial photographs (S1), on land to the north of the Hundred River, Rushmere.
It is possible that they represent Roman period field boundaries and a possible trackway, but they may relate to post medieval field boundaries and/or drainage ditches which are not depicted on the 1st edition Ordnance Survey map (S2).
E. Ford (Norfolk Historic Environment Service), 30th July 2014.
