Full Description
May 2014. Lothingland, Lowestoft and North Suffolk Coast and Heaths National Mapping Programme.
The cropmarks of a dispersed group of multiphase ditches and field boundaries are visible on aerial photographs (S1-S2). The date of these features could potentially range from the later prehistoric (Bronze Age material has been found in the general proximity - LWT 010) through to the medieval to post medieval period. Those boundaries most consistent with the field boundary on the Ordnance Survey First Edition map are likely to date to this later period. See LWT 308 for possible Bronze Age round barrow within area of the site.
