Full Description
April 2014. Lothingland, Lowestoft and North Suffolk Coast and Heaths National Mapping Programme.
The cropmarks of fragmentary field boundaries of possible medieval to post medieval date, although a Roman or earlier date cannot be discounted, are visible on aerial photographs (S1-S3). The soilmarks of a broad bank alongside the most easterly boundary may have been visible in 1951 (S3) but was not added to the mapping. Some of the more westerly features appeared to survive as low earthworks in the 1940s (S1-S2), however the site has now been built over.
S. Horlock (Norfolk Historic Environment Service), 30th April 2014.
