Full Description
January 2014. Lothingland, Lowestoft and North Suffolk Coast and Heaths National Mapping Programme.
The cropmarks of a group of multi-phase ditches, trackways and field boundaries of unknown date are visible on aerial photographs (S1-S2). The site is centred on TM 5124 9719. It is likely that these boundaries predominantly relate to activity of later prehistoric to Roman date and relate to more extensive cropmark sites in the area, such as SOL 002 and SOL 010. However some elements, in particular within the southern part of the site may be medieval to post medieval in date.
S. Horlock (Norfolk Historic Environment Service), 8th January 2014.
