Artefactual materials recovered ranges form the Iron Age to Modern period primarily from the top and subsoils. 2018: An archaeological excavation was undertaken as part of the East Anglia One Offshore Windfarm project (EAOne) at site 11b land off Wirnesham Road, Westerfield. A previous evaluation revealed evidence of archaeological features. This subsequent excavation revealed two phases of activity.
