December 2015. Suffolk Coast and Heaths Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty National Mapping Programme.
A Second World War aircraft crash site is recorded at this approximate location by documentary sources; for further details of the aircraft and sources see Historic England record (S1). A large pit visible on 1940s aerial photographs (S2), on which it appears to be relatively fresh, may be the crater created by the crash.
