Full Description
(see 'Not to be published on web' tab for finder/s and/or findspot/s) (IPSMG 1924-22) Bronze bowl with perforated foot, the interior lined out into equidistant spaces, small rivet on one side, handle rings defective. Found five feet deep at Wickham Market together with (IPSMG 1924-23) portion of double-sided bone comb with circle-and-dot decoration. Donor Dr Whitwell, medical officer at Melton. Also found "fragment of much oxidised iron, approximately 6 inches in length probably a knife". (S1)
Coptic bowl "from garden on E side of Main Street, 6 feet down, 1907". Iron fragment. Said to be from rear area of modern burial ground (Maynard).
