Full Description
Cropmarks on aerial photograph of about 15 sub-rectangular dark marks in widely spaced irregular group. Possibly Grubenhauser or more likely flax retting or leather tanning pits (presumably clay subsoil though only obvious local water source was a sinuous water course on the north side of the former field)?
