Summary

Evaluation and monitoring identified a ditch which contained Roman pottery but included a sherd of Early Saxon material. A concentration of struck flint was also found.

Full Description

Evaluation and monitoring work identified a ditch which contained Roman pottery but included a sherd of Early Saxon material. Other finds from the site included a concentration of struck flint of which the largest group is thought to be Neolithic.
