Full Description
An evaluation and subsequent excavation on areas to the west and east of the existing substation revealed a series of archaeological features. These included a single Anglo-Saxon Sunken Feature Building (SFB), measuring 3.2m long and 2.9m wide, with two central and internal main posts with four posts from a later structure. Elsewhere on the excavation a sequence of at least two undated boundary ditches were identified cutting through a buried soil (S1).
