Full Description
Scatter of patinated and unpatinated worked flints and flint-gritted hand-made pottery first reported in 1995 (see Mes, Neo & IA0, including plano-convex knife (S1).
October 1999: Fieldwalking identified two main flint assemblages (a total of 360 worked flints) and 95, mainly flint-gritted, pot sherds. The earlier, patinated assemblage was dated as LNeo/EBA and included an oblique arrowhead. The later unpatinated assemblage and the pottery seem likely to date to the later BA or EIA. Details in (S2).
2008: 13 further surface found worked flints of Mes & later date (see Mes).
