Full Description

Fieldwalking by John Newman for SE Suffolk survey located C13/C14 pottery scatter in `field 401', in area of dark soil circa 60m across. Finds listed consist of 13 body, 1 base & 2 rim sherds Med coarse ware and 1 body sherd stoneware. Also modern material (tile, bone) on site (S1). Close to and ? adjoining two further Med scatters in next field - see BFD 011 & 012. Full details in survey archive.
1992: Lots of building debris and Barnack Stone limestone mortar reported by Peter Holborn from TM 2700 5190 (S2).
