Description
Site/SMR No: SSM001. Monitoring of a new water main between the StratfordSt Mary pumping station and the Lattinford Borehole site (TM 056345 toTM 079368). The pipeline crossed an extensive cropmark site centred atTM 062348 which was subject to sample excavation. Ditches and pits ofIron Age/Romano-British date were revealed, suggesting a settlement in the near vicinity. Funded by Tendring Hundred Water Services Ltd.
