Description
Monitoring at a development site for TXU-UK Business Centre. The new build was to be on piled foundations so the pile caps and beams were monitored on 6 occassions. No archaeological deposits or artefacts were recovered. The pile caps were excavated to fairly substantial depth 1.5m through deposits of yellow sand and gravel. In one pile cap hole was a small section of foundation, possibly could be related to Russell House.
