Description
Evaluation undertaken in advance of the construction of a new dwelling. A single trench, 10m in length, was mechanically excavated using a JCB fitted with a ditching bucket. This revealed a 1.2m Victorian rubbish pit in the southern end but elsewhere no features of archaeological interest were identified (S1).
