Description
Two visits. During firstfootprint had been stripped of 500mm deep topsoil deposit of black loamy garden soils directly down to a grey brown clay silt with Post Medieval pottery, brick and tiles. Possible infilled drain line. Second visit footing trenches being opened but flooding as water level only 200mm below grey brown clay.
