Septic tank trench (size c1.2 x 1.2m). The septic tank trench to the front of the property revealed a well developed sandy garden topsoil that was 350mm thick with a few small brick/tile fragments and no other finds. As existing drain runs (or close to existing) were to be re-used these were not observed). From the soil sections and ground works observed it is felt that the area of this development can be assessed as having had no pre-19th century activity of any significance.
