PROJECT DETAILS In December 2014 Archaeological Solutions Ltd (AS) carried out an archaeological evaluation of Lower Downs Slade, Haverhill, Suffolk (NGR TL 6704 4564). The evaluation was commissioned by Oxbury Chartered Surveyors on behalf of Havebury Housing Partnership as part of a draft planning condition on approval for the proposed erection of flats, garages, parking and vehicle access (Planning Approval Ref. DC/14/1457/FUL), based on advice from Suffolk County Council Archaeological Service Conservation Team.
