PROJECT DETAILS Rickinghall Superior, land adjacent to Meadowcroft, Maypole View (RKS 037, TM 0456 7564) evaluation trenching at this site for a single dwelling development on land between Meadowcroft and the main road through the village revealed one definite and one possible pit of earlier Post medieval date though the latter feature being broad and shallow could represent a deeper pocket of subsoil rather than a deliberately created feature.
