Sudbury, land at No7 Brundon Lane (SUY 134, TL 8624 4142) evaluation trenching for a warehouse and office development on land close to the River Stour on the western side of Brundon Lane did not reveal any archaeological features or finds of any antiquity. Monitoring of earlier test pits confirmed that the top soil had already been removed from the site during a previous phase of development in addition to identifying two areas of potentially extensive Post medieval quarrying while the evaluation revealed one pit of recent date and another area of Post medieval quarrying.
