Lavenham, land east of 5 Prospect View, The Common (LVM 060, TL 9198 4916) monitoring of ground works for a detached outbuilding on the northern edge of The Common recorded two large pits which can be dated to the late medieval and late medieval/early Post medieval periods respectively on the evidence of the pottery sherds that were recovered.
