Description
Monitoring of water main renewal - results suggested no major archaeological deposits existed directly along the route of the pipeline although area immediately east of the medieval church was backfilled before monitoring could take place. A general background scatter of finds were seen including a flint scraper, possible iron age pottery sherd and a medieval pottery sherd. Some of these finds are likely to be assoicated with adjacent sites such as KIR 019.
