Monitoring of the insertion of an undergroundelectricity supply from the car park to a new visitor's centre in the keep.Remnants of a septaria wall, plastered on its western (upslope) face, witha mass of septaria and mortar rubble to the west of it, suggest theexistence of a demolished building half-way up the motte. A shallow pitcontaining large septaria blocks produced 19 sherds of 13th/14th centurypottery.
